CSU Lal-lo posts enrollment growth, welcomes 830 first-year students

Cagayan State University (CSU) Lal-lo recorded a six percent increase in enrollment for the first semester of Academic Year 2026–2027, registering a total of 2,644 students and welcoming 830 first-year students as of June 23.

Data from the Campus Registrar showed that overall enrollment rose from 2,503 students during the first semester of the previous academic year, although the number of first-year enrollees slightly declined from 860 to 830.

Among the campus’ four colleges, the College of Agriculture registered the highest number of first-year students with 237 enrollees and expanded its total student population from 512 to 575.

The College of Computing Sciences recorded the largest increase in enrollment, growing from 596 students last academic year to 662 this semester while admitting 211 first-year students.

Despite remaining the largest college on campus, the College of Hospitality Management (CHM) posted a slight decrease in enrollment from 932 to 900 students and welcomed 208 first-year students.

Meanwhile, the College of Teacher Education logged 507 enrolled students and 184 first-year students, the lowest figures recorded among the colleges.

The latest enrollment figures reflect CSU Lal-lo’s sustained growth and continuing efforts to expand access to quality higher education across its academic programs.
