Cagayan State University Lal-lo inked another partnership with technology adopter on the cultural production and management of fragrant grasses on September 30, 2022.
Through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Engr. Expedito C. Taguibao in Enrile, Cagayan agreed to help the campus in the establishment of the essential oil industry in the region through becoming the hallmark of research-based Citronella production and cultural management as a source of livelihood.
In the MOU, Engineer Taguibao pledged to cooperate with CSU-Lal-lo and technical staffs for the project’s realization, share the best experiences and practices with farmers who are interested to engage on the said venture, and sustain the operation of the project for at least three consecutive years to determine project’s impact.
The partnership is a product of the the research program titled “Fragrant Grass and Essential Oil Industry Development Program in Cagayan Valley”
