As members of the only higher education institution in the municipality, 45 faculty and staff of Cagayan State University at Lal-lo graced the streets around barangays Centro and Bagumbayan as they participate in the opening parade of the 443rd Patronal Town Fiesta and 24th Cabibi Festival on July 30, 2024.
Flaunting their creativity through their headdress while maintaining the branding of the University through wearing and using the 46th Founding Anniversary Official T-shirt and umbrellas, the faculty and staff paraded with the officials of the Local Government Unit of Lal-lo, workers in the academe and of the different agencies in town's to foster the town cultural heritage and accomplishments through the years.
Also, 20 faculty and staff participated in the Inter-agency Night in the evening of the same day, showing a strong support to the festivities of the town fiesta.
The team was led by Mrs. Winibeth S. Burgos, campus administrative officer and officer-in-charge at the Office of the Campus Executive Officer on said date.
The opening parade formally started the weeklong festivities of the municipality of Lal-lo for the patronal town fiesta and Cabibi Festival .#
