LAL-LO, Cagayan — Rather than merely checking compliance, Cagayan State University–Lal-lo Campus is using its internal audit for ISO 9001:2015 as an opportunity to strengthen its systems and improve the delivery of services.

The campus conducted its internal audit from Aug. 10 to 14, covering management, core, support and administrative offices.

Seven trained internal auditors assessed the implementation of processes and procedures across the different units.

According to Dr. Edenjoy A. Manuel, lead auditor, the audit provides the campus with a mechanism to determine whether established quality processes are being consistently implemented, while also identifying gaps and areas that may be further improved.

She said the activity reinforces a culture of continual improvement, allowing offices to examine their practices, address opportunities for improvement and ensure that services remain responsive to the needs of students, faculty, personnel and other stakeholders.

Campus Executive Officer Dr. James B. Cabildo, sustained commitment to support every office to carry out their operations highlighting that the audit is a both mirror and compass, reflecting the current performance of the offices and guiding them to improve their operations their services.

He said through the internal audit, CSU-Lal-lo continues to strengthen its Quality Management System and sustain the standards expected of an institution committed to efficient, consistent and quality public service.
