To strengthen faculty members’ capacity to develop and assess instructional materials, Cagayan State University (CSU) Lal-lo Campus, through its Instructional Materials Development (IMD) Office, conducted an orientation on the Instructional Material (IM) Writing Guide Manual and IM Evaluation and Validation Tools on October 26, 2026, at the Conference Room of the New Academic Building.
Dr. Marcelo R. Raquepo served as the resource speaker, discussing the university’s guidelines for writing instructional materials and the procedures for evaluating and validating them.
The morning session focused on the IM Writing Guide Manual, covering standards for organizing, preparing, and presenting instructional content to support effective teaching and learning.
In the afternoon, the discussion shifted to the IM Evaluation and Validation Tools, highlighting the criteria and procedures for assessing the accuracy, relevance, and suitability of instructional materials for their intended learners.
The activity also featured the presentation of the revised IMD procedures by Asst. Prof. Robee Rose V. Pascual, Campus IMD Coordinator, who discussed updates to the campus processes governing instructional materials development.
Through the orientation, CSU Lal-lo Campus reaffirmed commitment to supporting faculty members in producing instructional materials guided by established institutional standards and procedures.
