Coffee lovers will soon savor the unique taste of two additional coffee blends of Cagayan State University at Lal-lo as the campus makes ways for the blends’ marketing as soon as ongoing research trials will be finished this quarter.

Brewed under the five-million institutionally funded Research, Development and Extension (RDE) Coffeehub Program led by Prof. Ana Marie Cauilan, the new coffee blends are the King Arthur Dark Roast Coffee and Urdujah Premium Blend Arabica Coffee.

The introduction of the additional coffee blends follows after the soft launching of the Oliviante Coffee Blend during the official opening of the Nueva Segovia Café on July 29, 2024 as part of Lal-lo’s 443rd Patronal Town Fiesta and 24th Cabibi Festival.

It was reported that the Oliviante Coffee Blend including the Valena Heritage Coffee, the hallmark blend that has been introduced in the market as part of the efforts of the university to make CSU Lal-lo the coffee authority in Northern Philippines, are the official blends now served at the Nueva Segovia Café. Arthur G. Ibañez, Officer-in-charge of the Office of the University President.

“This is perfect for those who need a boost in their daily routine, this coffee encourages you to find your inner strength with every sip,” he said.
